I've done the whole waiting in line during the wee hours of "Black Friday" to grab the elusive $9.95 scanner or to get one of the other many great deals (with limited supplies). I get the mentality. I've lived it.
So, I'm not surprised that a man was trampled to death by a herd of salivating, price-savvy consumers in a Wal-Mart in New York State. Police are going through security footage to try to find the ones responsible. Other Wal-Mart employees tried to save the man, many of them being trampled as well, although not fatally.
When the store had to close due to the death, shoppers were irate.
I, personally, find this disturbing.

I believe i read that 2 more were trampled to death(?) at NJ store that day. Glad you got home safe. Heck, i didnt leave my house Black Friday.

How brainless can people get? A lady told me today that there was a fight in our local Wal Mart store Black Friday. There were 10 items on sale and 14 buyers for them. Go figure? I am sure something will change on this Shopping? I think the buyers should be held back for about two blocks. The store opens the door, and a gun fired in the air for the race to begin. After people run hard for about two blocks, most of them will be to tired to fight? I know I would.
